I am a Graphic Desing Student based in Oregon/Washington State. I attend Lane Community College in pursuit to obtain my AAS in Graphic Desing as well as a Web Certificate. I enjoy working closely with clients who want to take their brand to the next level through brand identity and logo design. I do illustration work on the side as creative freedom; In fact, most of my illustrations are inspired by current issues wihtin my community and internationally.

What Inspires Me?

Having the privilege to amplify the experiences of individuals who are marginalized in this country and being able to bring attention to pressing injustices will always be the inspiration behind everything that I do. My passion for Designing flourished when I realized I was limitless with how I could use my voice to also inspire and educate others around me.

Web Production Assignments

Successful completion of my assignments in Web Production with the guidance of our Web Design Textbook has given me new knowledge, skills, and confidence. I am fairly new to html and css, therefore, it has been a tremendous help to follow through with our textbook. In my previous online class Intro to Html, it felt as if I was teaching myself the basics of coding with limited assistance. Below are my assignments for my Web Production class Winter 2022:

Web Production Projects

The projects being worked on in Web Production have given me the opportunity to utilize my skills and knowledge I have learned so far. Within these projects, I individually plan my web pages and execute my ideas on my own. Below are brief descriptions about my projects for my Web Production class Winter 2022:

Project 1
Project 1 consisted of making a Resume page with basic css style. The project stages follows:
  1. I had to update my existing resume with current skills and work experience regarding my Graphic Design and Web Design career.
  2. Using HTML I then marked up my resume and designed it as I liked.
  3. Lastly, to make the resume visually pleasing and easy to read, I styled it with CSS to make it look clean, aesthetic, and professional.
Project 2
Project 2 will practice structuring and styling a web page with CSS and also touch on image optimization. The project stages follows:
  1. Adding required content in HTML formatting with the guidance of our Project 2 Resource folder.
  2. Need to utilize Photoshop to optimize page background image, content background image, and inline content images.
  3. Lastly, practice CSS styling to decorate the web page as required.
Project 3
Project 3 will be a great opportunity to practice everything that I have gained in Web Production and to show off my new skills and knowledge. The project stages follows:
  1. First step will consist of site planning. I will need to draft a site plan, create a site flowchart, creative brainstorming comps.
  2. Translate everything in HTML format with all the advanced skills I have learned. This step will also include several peer feedback and revisions.
  3. Lastly, I will need to decorate my site utilizing the best suitable CSS styles to demonstrate skills learned. The final product will be presented to peers and instructor.
